Rosie graduated from Claremont School of Art in 1994 majoring in Painting and Jewellery. She started her art career exhibiting paintings and drawings, but met and married local jeweller Eric Car which reactivated her interest in jewellery.
Eric and Rosie colaborated on many artistic endeavours but Rosie also worked on her own projects which involved the use of Titanium and Sterling Silver.
Sadly Eric passed away but Rosie continues to work in their workshop inspired by his "presence"
Having recently returned from Europe where Rosie was inspired by many historic and contemporary art and "objets d'art" she is endeavouring to create some beautiful fashion items for both men and women. She has been strongly influenced by the Viking presence in Northern Europe and is using these ideas and motifs in her current jewellery.
Rosie is available to take commissions in silver, gold, titanium and other metals through our gallery .
Rosie has participated in numerous School exhibitions including Scotch College, MLC, and Hale School.
